Dear Diary,
Today, I paid my daddy a visit. Who's still in jail. Who also looks in the worst shape I've ever seen him in. My gift only made the pain in his eyes go away momentarily. Happy Father's Day!
I'm so relieved classes are over. So relieved that I'm done with AP exams (and pretty sure I did really good). Tara's party was amazing, of course. And I know it should be time to have a little more fun, but the summer is also a good time to work possibly get experience that will benefit me in the long run, like volunteering at the hospital.
Since I'm also free I think I ought to get a list of colleges together in the meantime. Have my number one choice but better to add more to be safe.

My best friend is Noelle Williams. Well, never mind friend; she’s more like my sister. Having both been raised here in Louisiana all our lives, its not surprising that we knew each other since kindergarten. Yes, sleepovers and all that are definitely on the lengthy list of childhood memories we share. I practically have my own room at her place for me to crash whenever I feel like it.
Noelle is simply amazing. She’s smart, talented, and athletic. Have you seen her on the field or basketball court? She’s made to win! Her college plans involve Stanford for Sports Medicine (and guess who else she’s hoping will go along... she probably doesn’t have to hope though, ahem.)
She’s already mentioned one memory of us and her broken wrist (oh, we were such kids), but there are plenty more. When we were younger, Noelle and I used to attend Backstreet Boys concerts, especially when they were in and popular. Once, we even had the chance to meet them – backstage passes, yes! We even have pictures of us with them, and an autographed poster for each of us.
We have a little tradition for every Thursday night. Over the weeks, we record any shows of our liking via TiVo and watch them all on that one night. Sometimes when we end up watching them past midnight, it’s pretty much given that I’m going to end up sleeping over her house that night. Can you believe that I probably have a spare set of pajamas at her place?
Noelle’s been there for me when I needed her the most, especially this past summer. Oh, yeah. I went there. I can say with complete confidence that Noelle will always have my back when I’m down, even if the rest of the world turns away. And of course, I would always have her’s!

Sweet! Dance competition is tomorrow. I so can't wait! Nothing more thrilling than being on the stage in front of a various number of people. I'm confident enough to say at least I will not be tripping and falling on my face
But next month is the state competition. Along with about a gazillion other things like AP exams, the Spring Musical, yet another dance competition two days after prom. It's not like the teachers are going easy on homework either, ugh. My schedule looks so packed for next month.
I can't wait till this semester is over.

On a budget? Wow. I never thought I'd hear the day my mother would tell us we have to start watching how much we spend monthly. The worst is her mentioning that we need to make sacrifices. It does make sense considering right now, Mom's the only source of income we have.. that I know of.
Unless Francine is making money but hogging it all but that seems very unlikely.
What if it gets worse? What if we have to sell this house and move to Windsor or OH GOD Hyde Park?
We can make some sacrifices, I can stop shopping so much although I really have not been in the mood to shop for a long time, I can decide not to get new shoes with my dress which I haven't done yet and just use the ones I have already... maybe share a limo with someone else. Maybe only attend this year's prom and not next
That's just little stuff though. And with senior year approaching also looms the prospect of attending college soon after, for which we would... definitely have to pay for. Maybe I should get a job. I wonder if Mom could find out if the medical center needs people.
At least we have private filters on these stupid things.

Hello, Apple Creek. This is the daughter of a mass murdering Senator as someone oh so wonderfully decided to pass around. Fuckers
My name is Tessa Defarge. I'm a junior here at Apple Creek Senior High. I am currently taking Latin I, AP Biology, Drama II, and Dance IV for Jazz/Modern Dance. I'm also part of the cheerleaders, which I am sure most people know, but then again, you bitches know all. Or at least think you do and the dance team as well.
I live in Ironwood with my mother and my sister. Francine goes to college. She was is studying to be a nurse, while my mother is a pharmacist. I highly doubt I need to explain much about my father and brother. One is in jail. The other is dead.
As people probably can see clearly, I love dancing. Forget ballet though. I hated that. All other types of dance, I don't mind. I doubt I'm actually going to do something in dance though, in my future. I'm planning on probably going in the same field as my mother is, most likely. AP Biology is one hell of an interesting subject. Other than that, I like cheerleading, hanging out with Kelan, sometimes reading something not boring -- read, not required shit for class.
I'm really looking forward to senior year though. Don't worry. I wouldn't leave without fucking over some of you assholes Can't believe its finally here. The tough part is choosing what college to go to. I'm definitely not looking forward to those college apps.
